I arrived at Five Immortals Temple with little idea what to expect from the Daoist Medicine Course, however, I had an inkling that the location and energy of the temple environment would mean that it would be a full yet challenging experience.
\nShifu has shared his deep knowledge of the Daoist healing arts and it has been a rare privilege to be in receipt of techniques; talisman healing and fire healing methods to name a couple, that are little known and practiced in the west.
\nTo me the Daoist Medicine Course has been about healing and learning on all levels and we have been given powerful tools such as Tai Chi, Qigong and Longevity sets to develop one\u2019s own body and strength in order to help others and also Shifu is keen for us to share them with those who will benefit as well.
\nI felt cared for and supported by Shifu and the others here. The food is delicious and although the accommodation is basic, it serves to emphasis that more often than not in the west we live with more than we need.
