Daoist Medicine course<\/span><\/h2>\n

Students from all around the world came to Bai Ma Shan for the Daoist Medicine course commencing on June 24. Some students just began to study Chinese medicine, and some others already have many years of experience. But regardless their experience, all have been looking forward to this day, having the chance to come to this mystical mountain and study together with an old daoist doctor.<\/p>\n

During the first class, one by one we introduced ourselves and shared our stories sincerely, forming a big harmonious family. Since we were going to meditate together in the temple that evening, Lishifu first talked about the requirements and methods for Qi Gong and sitting meditation. Then just from following Lishifu’s instructions on how to train Gong, some students already could feel Qi in their bodies.<\/p>\n

The next morning, we got up at 5AM to learn and practice some new longevity Qi Gong
\nbefore breakfast. In the afternoon, we learned more movements of the longevity Qi Gong.
\nDuring a 5-minute practice of standing pillar meditation, Lishifu told us to look for the energy balls all around our bodies and guided us into a collective energy field.
\nOne student felt a very strong feeling of Qi as if his body was going to fly. Lishifu jokingly said he would tie a rope around his foot and pull him back if he does. He reminded us do not get too excited, this is only the beginning and there is more to come.<\/p>\n
